Darkling Sounds is based in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota and exists to promote music and uplift artists in electronic and rock genres such as darkwave, post-punk, industrial, metal, and synthpop through concert promotions, concert booking, DJing, photography, podcasting, marketing, advising, and blogging.

Live Streaming

Tripwire streams on Twitch, YouTube, Mixcloud, and Streamplace. Live streams include cello practice, DJ sets, music production, an occasional video game, or other miscellaneous creative or music-related endeavors. Past DJ sets are also on Mixcloud.

Photography

Darkling Sounds specializes in live concert photography and dabbles in landscape/cityscape photography.

We specialize in booking independent artists at venues with capacity of 200 – 600, regularly partnering with Kilted Farmer Koncerts and other local independent promoters. Aztalan Turf Podcast

Aztalan Turf Podcast was launched in 2010 as a bi-weekly music show spanning various flavors of rock, electroclash, synthpop, darkwave, EBM, goth, industrial, metal, and other related genres. The show featured music news, interviews, and artist info.
